When I was 6 I could barely know any cricketers let alone be a cricketing genius in winning Fantasy league titles or picking very strong teams.
Didn't even like the sport at that age, can't even remember any cricket until the 2003 World cup although do have memories of the 2002 natwest final but then it is bit clouded most of my first cricketing memories are 2003 world cup.
impressive stuff though for a 6 yr old especially knowing cricket players.

Never heard of a list and a pin. Anyway Red jnr has a West Indian pedigree so 6 year old's are weaned on the names of great cricketers.

TBH even then quite impressive picking 5 players that are actually quite good.
Doubt I would be picking teams that well at age 6.
if anything at that age would be picking players on the spelling or what they sound like not on their cricketing abilities or my favourite picking them by counting numbers.

No need to be ashamed that you couldnt pick team even at 6. Shanky is 20+ and still flops as selector. :laugh

Pretty close.

Updates this afternoon.

I think you have been the best selector this month. IND-NZ ODI and now probably this FL as well.

The little'un thinks that's quite funny.

to be honest, when he picked his team I said picking Rashid was a bad move as he may not even play given how poor he was in BD, but the kid ignored me and picked him anyway and he nearly helped him win it with those 2o odd wickets and a few runs kicked in for good measure.

Going to check the champagne is the right temperature and that someone's got a match for the fireworks, and the presenters aren't narcotised and then I'll be back with the results. Until then, here is Beyonce, LIVE, singing The Final Countdown.

If we at Fantasy Leagues and Weapons pride ourselves on anything it is the hope we bring across the world. In association with our friends in the UK Government, we are proud to announce that as it can now be demonstrated that our service caters for those of school and college age, a billion pounds per annum of public money will be freed up, via an account in the Cayman Islands, for our and our associates in the petro-chemical industries' outreach project in a pre-school walk in centre for hard working families in Belgravia and Knightsbridge, London.

Our liaison representative from the B&K Enablement Group, Charlotte-Emily Pilfer has kindly come down to present the prizes. Thanks to you, our stakeholders, for taking part. Charlotte-Emily: Counting down to number one...

Must do better- see me after the ceremony:

Alfie...2976
Splinters...2982
Andy...3223
Hope...3235
Diligent...3327

If you spent as much time on your work as you do messing around, you'd do much better, like Adi, Ian and Red.

Ntini...3414
Aidan...3472
Mike...3492
Durham...3623
Ginger...3683

Some of you are capable of so much more. I'll be speaking to your parents.

Dan...3712
Bhaves...3725
Al...3748
Adi...3856
Ian...3827
Red...3895

Adi, you may take one sweet from the jar. Yes, you have to.

And congratulations, keep it up.

Shanky...4093
BFP...4107
Dilbert...4144
RedJr....4331

And the winner of the competition is-

Arthur...4337.

Frankly, we're all very surprised.

You may now sit quietly until the bell.

Thanks for your participation and input chaps.

Big hard luck to RedJr for nearly nicking it at the last. Rashid? Who knew?

Please let me know any queries in the next 24 hours fellas, as I'll throw my bits of paper out then.

Actually, I got Adi and Ian the wrong way round. I misappropriated the confectionary.

7- Adi
8- Ian

Fortunately, Adi didn't want the prize for eighth.
