Not quite the 8 teams I wanted, but 6 is close enough, I think
we have a game. I confess to being curious as to how mixed gender teams will work

Women batters will have a natural advantage, and woman bowlers much more of an advantage....
Last years top scorer in both competitions in the group stage.
Men - 158 runs scored on average
Women - 139 runs
Men score quicker, so there is an inbalance. Might see some crazy female bowling points, and some lower benchmarks for the women batters. I havent really picked my team based on that though, just a bit of fun.
If you really wanted to, you could work out benchmark scores and attribute different bonus points for each gender based on scoring rates relative to the average, but as I said... bit of fun.

well, as I said earlier, womens scoring rates in recent fantasy leagues have gone right up compared to a handful of years ago. When scoring for the womens world cup and the WPL it became very apparent to me that there was no longer any need to differentiate between them and the men in terms of bonus points. Under the old scoring system, I was handing out maximum SR batting bonuses willy nilly, while the bowlers were barely scraping the economy bowling points because of the lower thresholds.
It will be interesting to find out how they compare side by side
I've noticed that everyone has between 4 and 7 women in their side, so it's hard to tell.
just for fun, SP, why don't you pick an all male XI and an all female XI as well to see how that compares. Ignore that some women have already played and just pick your strongest two XI's

easy start for me, because there was only one bowler. It's the runs per ball and dot ball things that I have to take great care over

I did try to watch some of this, but my mind kept wandering away from the screen, if I'm honest, so I watched the footie highlights in the end

no Livingstone today, which will surprise a few people including me
rain interfering again and telling the ECB the time that women and children should be going home, won't surprise anyone
