Perth need to sit down and take a long hard look at themselves (except for MM who needs to take Vera Lynn by the hand and ssip off to an Aussie ODI boot camp somewhere...... sharpish)

Three players out through injury Hastings (who never got to the start line, Russell who arrived as a walking wounded and Bravo are joined by Wade who may or may not get into the team ahead of Nevill. Not being bottom of the league is a miracle in itself.

Missing Russ and Bravo, however i think most have them.

Everyone is losing one or more players due to ODI.

think we've all got players missing from our XIs so no point moaning about it really

i've had coulter-nile and hastings who haven't even played a game, as well as the injury to russell and a couple now away for the internationals, so down to 6 active players

and finch who i left out because i expected him to be on international duty has been dropped

I deliberately avoided selecting Aus and Eng internationals, so the only absentees I have are injuries to.... well.... WI T20 specialists.

I'm still in the mix, but behind those with the top performing Aussie call ups, so I'm hoping this strategy will stand me in good stead. I confess the form of Vera, MM, and Cummings was beginning to worry me, less so the big show ponce, Faulkner and Head.
