To me obviously!

apologies for the delay

I can't believe that Lancs squeaked through without the need for a super over.... typical damp squib ECB.... the IPL would have made a real something out of a situation like that. No wonder the T20 Blast is sh1te compared to every other T20 competition in the world

player scores 4th QF

Lancs

94 Faulkner
14 Croft
dnp Proctor

Kent

25 Denly
111 Coles
62 Stevens
37 Billings
8 Bell-Drummond
dnp Nash B

Victory almost a certainty for Red....... not true... victory assured for Red, courtesy of Lancs squeaking through

Red has 3 of my 4 remaining players, 2 of Ian's 3, and all of BN's..... plus a healthy lead and Croft

Congratulations to Red.... another fine, off the final bend, victory :salute

I confess that I got back to my room at the Buck hotel in Reeth, switched on the teletext to check the scores, saw that they were tied and sat like a pudding waiting for the result of the super over :facepalm

and just to rub salt in the wound.... Faulkner scored 50 points with his last 2 balls after doing very little in the match, and Matty Coles saved his best T20 performance of the season, for that match, to finish me off

not counting any chickens yet - slender 140 run lead so that one player of DFM's that I don't have could easily score more than that in 2 games ... remember, it's a funny old game!

nice to actually be doing ok in a comp at the moment though - the county ones and the 50 over one and the fantasy manger one really aren't going very well at all

that one player neither batted nor bowled in the last game, and has to score 140 points more than Faulkner, Croft, and Willey combined.

If he does that, it'll likely be the greatest ever T20 perforamnce in the history of the game......

and would make me very happy :D

I have counted my chickens.........

and it turns out I have 3 of them :D

which is good news, because it means they all made it through the weekend without me there to look after them
