Homosexual for 20 years - did he stop and go straight, or was he straight to start?

I just assumed he was gay for the last 20 years until I found out he dated Justine Frischmann recently. He apparently describes himself as a bisexual that has never had a gay experience, so I guess I was half right. He used to drift a lot towards the gay scene, and at times styled himself to look like the same type of stereotypical gay person that was all over Brighton at the time. And the gay community seemed to see him as a bit of an icon too.

80's band, known but not successful. The singer, Deborah Conway, is still around - in a similar vein.
