In real-terms I had more players available, but haven't increased my lead. Red has shrunk his deficit from 700ish to 500ish points, a sign of Red timing his peak to perfection.

I think you are pretty safe - selecting Tom Smith and having him out injured for the whole season has probably cost me any chance of winning this

I picked Balcombe who hasn't bowled all season and Tremlett who I think played twice

I had Smith and Cosker

I even took Coles out (after his disappointing time at Hants) to fit Cosker in

Just as well Matt Coles took some wickets, otherwise Ian would be poised to overtake me.

Plenty of downtime in the off-season for family planning, imagine the scenario if Glamorgan were in contention for promotion.

Martyn Rooney missed the birth of his child in order to go to Beiijing to race for his teammates and his country in the 4x400m relay. Now that's team spirit! Rudolph should be ashamed of himself
