I have a problem, sadly.

I went to update this FL last night, and was unable to do so, because those lovely people at microsoft had decided to install what turned out to be microsoft edge and it was a long update, and so I left it until this morning. Now that the update is complete, my excel spreadsheet doesn't work. whenever I try to input some data into a cell it closes the spreadsheet. My son in law is coming tomorrow to look at something else so hopefully he'll be able to sort it out, but in the meantime, I'm a bit bollixed.

hopefully normal service will be resumed sometime over the weekend
