they have Kohli shown as a "withdrawn player" in the RCB squad page

BCCI press release had him missing the first 3-4 weeks.
maybe he is missing the tournament, since any indian contracted player will be compensated for missing IPL which is why the likes of Jadeja, Ashwin, Kl Rahul and the list goes on are either missing early games or the tournament none of them are losing any money for either pulling out or missing games for their franchises.
Kohli is a big name if he does pull out.
