okay.... I've thought about it a bit more, and realised that they can't all take lots of wickets.... got a bit carried away

Sangakkara
Root

I planned that top 5 so you force changes on me. :gun DFM.

you're welcome

just have different reserves..... unlikely that the top 5 won't change over the series

A question has arisen concerning substitutes in FL teams. I had Woakes as my first reserve and Jordan my second and because Woakes came on as sub in one game ALviro believes this puts in doubt my belief that Jordan was in my team and has not included the points for Jordan. Surely the players who are on the team sheet at the toss are the legitimate FL team players. What do you make of this?

depends on who was on the announced team sheet at the toss

substitute fielders don't score any points as far as I am aware, and I don't include them when compiling scores for FL's that I'm running

Red seems to be the official adjudicator for FL's

Jordan started the game and Woakes came on as sub . It's quite important as it was the game Jordan took 5 wickets.

does it mean you move ahead of me in the table? ;)

If Jordan was in the starting XI and Woakes wasn't, then Jordan scores the points, for me

but I'm not qualified to adjudicate, so don't quote me on that

Red will be on later and he'll offer his expertise, I'm sure

It is based off who was the named five. If a player goes off and a sub comes on it has no impact on the scoring as the sub does not count. I think that makes sense. It is basically as DFM had it I think. Unless I don't understand the situation?

exactly right - if Jordan was in the side and Woakes was a sub fielder, then it is Jordan's points that should count
