dont know much about him either tbh

just when i was reading up on him i saw he had made his debut in 1937 at 23, so would have missed all of his late 20s due to the war, which in theory would have been his best years

Looking through the stats, Walters averaged 48.3 and Junior Waugh 41.8 in the middle order. Bill Woodfull opened in the thirties and averaged 46, against Washbrook's 42.8 and Kepler Wessels 41 and John Wright on 37.8.

Walcott didn't always keep, and BJ Watling is the next best keeper on 38.1. But really 3-7 in that side are hard to contest.

Spinners, Johnny Wardle averages 20.4!

Pacer Bill Whitty averaged 21.1 in the 1900s.
