I did go for ac. Surprised hurt didn't win. I got there too late...not sure any cover artist has quite took a song from someone and ever made it, changed the meaning of each word, like cash did.

Hurt was my back up. But I stand by Song to the Siren as the greatest ever cover, in terms of how it not only transforms the original, but lets out its latent magic. The This Mortal Coil version sounds other worldly and eternal. A bit like it was discovered rather than created, in the sound of the ocean at night.

Although I do occassionally sing on the karaoke in pubs. It seems to move a lot of people....to the exits.
