at this time of the year, half the players in people's teams aren't playing

there wasn't a single Kent selection playing in the last round.

I'd happily take a 270 point lead into the final round.

It shouldn't matter in your battle with the twins, because you have very similar teams, but if Compton doesn't play (and he missed the last game) then the return to Oz of Bancroft and Handscomb leaves you a bit short against my 5 unique players if they all play. the 270 points is a decent cushion though

as things stand atm, I have a 40 point lead over DD and we each have one unique player still active. TRJ has points in the bank, but vBuuren is at the crease with a game to save. TRJ could bowl him out and hand me the title, but vB could potentially bat until close, save the game and snatch it back for DD with an unbeaten hundred. If he continues to block everything all afternoon I should, in theory, be home and hosed, but anything could happen at this point.

vB still batting and I've just noticed that he picked up 2 wickets as well, so he's closing in on TRJ's score and will soon be whittling away my 40 odd point lead
