Well they did lose to Afghanistan in the Asia Cup and lost to HK today. Obviously they were favourites but it wasn't 100% certain.

Makes sense that, of course, because it becomes a trade off between getting in some early points, and being able to make last minute injury changes, or changes due to form in the warm up's, or indeed after simply having a look at team selections by the big 8 to see which players they are thinking about

I guess it would be unfair to be able to pick up early points AND make team changes after seeing which way the wind is blowing with the big 8 players in your team

I wish Ireland had qualified as i initially thought. Still Stirling got me about approx 250 points which is good.
