I think a lot of people are either utterly deluded about Englands chances, or they've had far too much to drink

Italy haven't won a game in ages...and 3 night ago drew 1-1 with one of the worst teams in the world...so bad in fact, Italys odds were 1/50 to win

My guess is they'll easily beat us.

Some teams have a big game mentality......... England would draw the first game of a WC if they were playing san marino...... they wont mange a draw against Italy

I'd go as far as to suggest that if England's second game is against Uruguay, then their tournament will be effectively over after 5 days, rather than the 9 I've been bashing on about

don't fall for the 'nobody gives us a prayer, so the pressure will be off' nonsense either

better to prepare yourself for it now
