my 4 man team for the final test was always going to struggle, and was not helped at all by India capitulating without England even needing to bring on the spinner.

Questions will be raised over whether Durham has the stamina for a five Test series. Like the highly paid Indian players, he fell away at the end of the gruelling five match marathon.

my 4 man team for the final test was always going to struggle, and was not helped at all by India capitulating without England even needing to bring on the spinner.

A 4 man team is luxury, after all the comings and goings of bowlers I ended up with 3.

That doesn't prevent me from giving hearty congratulations to Aidan and thanks to DFM and GG. I'm taking a sabbatical from FL comps. they're far too nerve racking for an old man. After a course of monkey gland treatment I'll no doubt feel better.
