The least scorers in my team are Big Mac and Kane as they are yet to score 150+ points in a match. Hope they will have one big match to back my selection. Otherwise all my remaining players have scored me enough points.

SAvAus final gives me eight in the final. Which only helps if Mitch1 and Steyn produce the goods at last. BN might me too far off to catch now. I hear Andy Flower picked his team for him. Which gives me added motivation.

Williamson has been disappointing, but he could turn it on against SA. It was his inability to bowl that put me off him.

I also have hopes for Steve Smith. After a poor opening game and then the NR against Bangladesh, he has become Mr consistent suddenly. 3 consecutive 50's (I think) and looking very assured....... 'proper' cricket shots too.

I expected Big Mac to score at least one ton on these smaller grounds along with home ground advantage and ability to score quickly and have other 50+ quick scores and someoene who is always in catching positions and run outs. So far he has only done the 50+ brisk knocks and fielding wise.

Kiwis haven't needed 6th bowler much. So Kane is not yet required, especially with Vettori replacing Small mac and getting wickets. Bowled less than 10 overs iirc. He might get to bowl if the 5 bowlers dont do well and Vettori flops. Maybe against Saffers and OZ who are less comfortable against spin. But then vettori might might pick wickets. To me Vettori replacing Small Mac has been the root cause of him bowling less. But more importantly lack of ton form him is a worrying issue in this FL team for me.

Picking IPL team will be another test of a long tournament. Bring it on.

To have a chance of respectability I need an AUS v NZ final, that would give me 6 players but many others share most of them.

2 left in the race. Adi has about a 200 point lead, but no players that Ian doesn't, so he can't extend his lead, he can only try to hang on. Ian still has Kholi and Starc up his sleeve, one of which will play 2 matches.

Adi probably needs a NZ/Ind final, with Starkers largely missing out in the semi and Kohli continuing in his current disappointing vein, to hold on to his lead, otherwise I think Ian will pip him at the post.

Still......... 200 points is 200 points. Points on the board always counts for something.

I think you are overlooking the late call up of Nathan McCullum for the final, where he scores 2000 runs for me and takes all wickets..... caught and bowled!!
