with Finn out for the final test I'll need a returning Steyn or, failing that, Duminy to remain with 5 players

Aidan and Hope are separated by Amla (Aidan) and Moeen (Hope).

With Finn out, Red needs Abbott or Steyn to return to keep a full team. Ntini needs Abbott back for Finn, or Footitt to replace him in the side.

Ian relying on something from Cook in the final Test, or to get Steyn back in his place.

Dan needs Steyn back, or Anderson to go big at the last.

You have to have Stokes to think of finishing eighth.

Wasn't he supposed to be borderline injured, and not certain to be able to bowl properly?

Are SA likely to play Steyn with the series lost?

Might get him ready for the ODIs. If I was a SA fan, particularly with a ticket for the game, I'd absolutely want him playing, ready to give something back to England. But a shoulder injury does sound a bit tricky to recover from, and ultimately, if there's any concern, his well being comes first. Obviously, I've no idea what they'll do, but he should come back if fit to play.

World T20 is most important. Should be rested.

The BBC have been round with a camera hidden in a loaf of bread. I told them to speak to the Cayman office.
