CF has done this in the past, but perhaps hasn't always given it his full attention and relied heavily on the lottery rounds which will not be a feature this year

Okay, so we currently have 9 - thanks Powelly

Budget: £1.5M
Deadline for 1st round bids: Tuesday 7pm
Highest bid wins player in each round - if 2 or more teams are tied after 4th round then tie-breaker will come into effect
No over-bidding until 4th round (ie: you can only make bids up to £1.5M in first round)

If we don't get a 10th player, then the highest value unallocated 30 players will become Brearley's Boundary Riders.

Squads will be between 20-30 players. If you spend your budget before you have 20, then you will be randomly allocated the lowest value remaining players until you have a full squad.

Any questions please ask, but you might not get a reply 'til tomorrow night as I'm on jury service in the morning

I don't see why Brearley should be able to spend more than the rest of us, or have to put up with a shed load of internationals and overseas players who won't play except when they are playing me

I'm trying to imagine how happy I'll feel when the fixture list comes out and Brearley is playing me first and Powelly second, and can field a star studded XI of full internationals, from a squad costing £3M, all of whom are playing for their counties for 2 weeks
