t20 fantasy league

Postby andy » Thu Sep 29, 2016 11:26 am

Hey guys, Remeber i did a ipl FL a few years ago, with auctions, and fixtures etc, when we made it essentially a cricket manager type thing, i would like to do this again? I have the time at the moment and really want to run this...it will be based on the english t20 sides, depending how many people want to play depends on how many sides we have.... There will be auctions, transfers, and weekly fixtures, with real life pitch conditions etc, and is designed to be a lot of fun...im really excited to run something like this again, and i hope that people want to take part..

If anyone's intrested please state here, and the side you wish to be in charge of..

I know it is next summer, just that you say you have time at the moment...

yeah its a fantasy league based on the sides from summer just gone...it wont run in line with real life........basically you have a squad each, and they play each other hypothetically every week....probably 8-10 sides, we will have auctions transfers etc...We then vote on all the games, on who we think wins the games etc....

This was a difficult sell for 4 day championship conditions CF! It will be almost impossible for anyone to make a compelling case for their team over someone else's in a T20 match...
Sports broadcasting media nut miscast as a hard-working family man. Or should that be the other way around?

Did something similar to this years ago in another forum.
Would work better if you use a simulator with people teams.
http://syedurrahman.tripod.com/cricket/cricksim.html
one of the best cricket simulators.
you can actually have a league with this as well.

Do I understand this right. There will be fantasy teams with real players playing against other fantasy teams with real players but in fantasy games and the results will be determined by a vote of the participating managers.

If the voting ends equal was it an exciting tied game or a boring draw. :lmao

Can't we all just buy copies of International Cricket Captain and play in multiplayer mode ;)
"Stats are there to be broken" Dominic Cork
"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie
"You won't get anywhere slouching about half out of bed" Geoffrey Boycott
