We at Fantasy League and Global Weapons were hoping that our investment in India v England 2016 Fantasy League, would pay off as the international Indian diaspora would turn into paydirt and attract a raft of prestigious global sponsors. But corporate interest was hard to come by with the senior status of last week's table. To be frank, we were beginning to regret the significant management fee paid to Giles Clarke, whose dinner expenses were astonishing. At one point it looked like Women's Realm Archives would get the advertising space, but at the last minute, Alpha Coach Hire and Caravans of Maidenhead came in with a face saver.

But the top five this time around has a cosmopolitan and global appeal, with fans from all the big three and a good spread of age and social class. So we are hopeful with three Tests to go, we'll get back our investment.

With the release of this table, the ICC's anti-corruption unit has been in contact and want to inspect my mobile phone activity. They've taken my claim that I don't have one as evasion and further proof of guilt. Hopefully this will all be sorted out by Mohali.

Hope you're all doing better than you thought.

the footman has begun his/her (delete as appropriate) ascent up the table, whilst still referring to himself/herself in the third person. Should be firmly in contention by the final test.

I say his/her/himself/herself because testosterone levels have dropped so much that even I'm not sure any more. I was crying watching a baby spider monkey giving her dad a big hug, earlier today. There was a time when I would have shot the baby spider monkey, stuck two fingers up at her dad and demanded to know what the *modded* he was going to do about it........ long tailed w@nker!

I'll try and get WWF on board.

Rahane is currently damaging a lot of campaigns.

Lots of good scores this time. I got 1000, don't know if four figures is unusual. Having a big score isn't necessarily going to get you up the table, as everyone with Kohli and Ashwin will get a big score. But not having Kohli and Ashwin has cost Splinters and Alfie, with their all Anglo teams.

Mike was top after the first game. Followed by Alfie and Splinters.

Top five now made up of India fans or former India fans, kept off the top spot by myself. Myself and Red jr are separated by me having Stokes and him having Rashid.

If Vijay had performed at all well I would be challenging for mediocracy instead of fighting off ignominy.
