its not really, mostly done by just copy and paste

took me about 20 minutes to setup and now its done all i have to do is enter the points each player gets in each innings and everything else is done for me

at the top right there is a share option, i just set it to being available to anyone who has a link, they can then view without needing to log on to google but not edit

I take it that this sharing can't be done with an excel spreadsheet

no idea, i dont think so as your spreadsheet will just be on your own PC, whereas the google docs are all done in the "google cloud"

not sure if you could save it to a cloud storage and then make it available to others via that cloud or not

its a long time since i have built spreadsheets, going back to supercalc days, we had a techie geek that did all that stuff for us for most of my time in project management

there are some things i would like to do to automate it even more but it either cant be done on google docs or i just cant work out how to do it

can i check something about the bonus points for bowlers

if a bowler takes 10 wickets in the match does he get +10 for the 5 wickets and +30 for the 10 or just the +30 ?

I've always awarded 10 for the 5 in the match, then 20 for any 5fers, then 30 for the 10 in the match..... because that is the way it reads to me. The wording probably needs tightening up, because it is open to interpretation atm

so you give all the bonuses rather than just the highest one ?
