sorry for the delay, not been feeling remotely human today but here we go


This game will cover 8 rounds. hopefully one round per week if everyone gets their picks and votes in on time.

In each round i will specify a theme. Each person playing will then specify a movie that fits the theme, do this by PM please so when it comes to voting the votes are being done blind.

Once i have all entries i will list the choices, hopefully including a trailer or clip from the film, and voting can start. Votes can be done by PM or in the thread itself, up to the person voting, happy to allow votes from any posters even if they aren't playing the game.

All decisions on whether the nomination fits the theme will be made by me. If two or more people nominate the same film it will be done on a first come, first served basis and i will ask the later picks to make another choice.

I''ll start a new theme every saturday, i'll give people til Wednesday midnight to get their choices in, voting will be open til a new theme is started. I'll pester people by PM for nominations and votes if necessary.

We have 8 entrants atm, if anyone else wants to join in just nominate a movie.

I'll post the results of the voting every week. Scoring will be done on a points basis. Assuming 8 entrants i'll give 10 points to the most popular, 8 to the second most, then from 6 to 1, no votes at all will immediately mean just 1 point. The winner will be the person with the most points at the end of the 8 weeks. if there is a tie on points the winner will be whoever won the most weeks. If thats still a tie it will be wheoever gives me the biggest bribe.

Hopefully thats clear, if i haven't explained it well let me know and i'll try to clarify.

i'm too late to edit the OP but i wanted to make one change.

When voting from the options available please make 2 choices but mark them in order. a first place vote will score three points for that week, a second place vote just 1.

that should avoid the situation where we get lots of entries with no votes and make things a bit more competitive.
