what i do is copy and paste the formula for the player's total from the match table into the FL team, so for players that are inactive there is nothing to copy over and just gets registered as a zero, it probably means a bit more copy and pasting than it could but once its done after the teams are confirmed everything else happens automatically
google docs is a bit more limited than excel, if i was using excel i think i could make it a bit slicker
if this was something i was doing all the time i would set something up in a database programme like Access but thats a bit of overkill for FLs with 10-20 people playing

Knowing what the players individual scores are give a better chance to check errors which occasionally arise and if the info is easy to post why not post it. DFM has multiple FL's running at the same time and he has no problem with it.
you can see what the individual player scores are and how the total score is arrived at on an innings by innings basis if you bothered to look
i look forward to your comprehensive scoring from now on tho

Its a shame this has happened Rich, you always do a great job with FL'S, shame always one person has to ruin it for everyone

I made simple request and rich reacted badly so don't blame me. If rich hasn't emptied his recycle bin the spreadsheet is still available.

and i explained that the information you were asking for was all there in black and white, and in far more detail than a simple copy and paste would be but you were either too stubborn or too stupid to work out where it was

and i tried to help you to find the information you were looking for, information that i repeat was there in detail on an innings by innings basis, and all i got was a demand that i do it the way you wanted me to

not sure if its a combination of toothache, lack of sleep and me being a generally grumpy b@stard at the best of times but just had enough today
