3 weeks to go but all squads have been announced so i thought i'd get the thread started to give people time to think

Rules

Pick 11 players, no substitutes allowed once the tournament starts

Scoring

Batting

1 point for every run scored
A batsman scoring 50 will receive a 20pt bonus, with another 10pts for every further 50 runs scored
(ie. 50 = 20pts, 100 = 30pts, 150 = 40pts, 200+= 50pts)
A batsman scoring at least 20 runs, will receive.....
10 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 80-99
20 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 100-149
30 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 150-199
40 bonus pts for scoring at a strike rate of 200+

Bowling

20pts per wicket
20 bonus pts for a 3fer
30 bonus pts for a 5fer
5 bonus pts per maiden over
A bowler who has bowled at least 3 overs will receive.....
10 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=6.0
20 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=5.0
30 bonus pts for an economy rate of <=4.0
(ie. an ER of 4.25 scores 20pts)

Fielding

10 points per catch or stumping
20 points per run out, or 10 points each, if two players share the responsibility
10 bonus points for 3 contributions with catches, stumpings or run outs.

If rich is determined to give up and there's no one else skilled in FL's I'll give it a go. No longer skilled in Spreadsheet work and I've given up smoking so fag packets are in short supply but I should cope with pen and paper.

I'll probably change the big ponce, otherwise known as the big knob, because that way my skin might not crawl so much that I have to shower 8 times a day

Morris may be injured so that'll need monitoring

Indian batsmen have been known, on occasion, to sometimes, possibly, struggle in English conditions, even SRT.... heresy, obviously, and I'll likely get trolled on the twaddle for daring to say that... or I would if I was daft enough to do the twaddle thing.....so Dhawan might have to go

I've probably got 2 too many English players, but apparently England are absolute favourites to give all the other also ran's teams, daft enough to bother coming over for the sole purpose of making up the numbers, a damned good thrashing, and could actually just be handed the trophy right now, were it not for the fact that FTECB want to make a shed load of money out of a complete no-contest tournament.... so that might have to change too
