Rules

Usual format... pick 11 players, no substitutes are permitted, and there are no restrictions on who you can pick

Scoring

Batting
1pt for every run scored
Players scoring at least 25 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for every 25 runs scored
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for a s/r 100-124
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 20pt bonus for a s/r 125-149
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 30pt bonus for a s/r 150+

Bowling
25 points per wicket, plus
5 pt bonus for maiden over
10 pt bonus for a 2fer
20 pt bonus for a 4fer
Bowler with an economy rate of <=4.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 30 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=5.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 20 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=6.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 10 point bonus

Fielding
10 points for each catch taken and stumping.
20 points for sole run out (10 each if shared)
10 pt bonus for being involved in 3 catches/run-outs/stumpings

I have a suggestion on the scoring based on what I observed in the WC

I'm guessing par may be somewhere between 6 and 7 runs per over?

so for bowling we could have +10 for ER of 6.01 - 7 ; +20 for ER of 5.01 - 6 ; +30 for ER of 4.01 - 5 ; +40 for ER of 3.01 - 4 ; +50 for ER of 3 or less

then to even that up for batting we could have +10 for a SR of 100-119.99; +20 for SR of 120-139.99; +30 for SR of 140-159.99 and +40 for SR of 160-179.99; +50 for SR over 180

what do you think?

always willing to have a discussion on this, given the fledgling nature of women's FL's. I don't remember being particularly unhappy about the scoring during the WBBL at the start of the year, which suggests there was nothing glaringly wrong with it, but if there is a consensus for change, I'm very happy to go with it

maybe have the discussion on the suggestions thread so it is easy to find in the future

this is ridiculous can't find any squad for this.
