I knew I was behind the AP 8 ball, but I hadn't realised quite by how much.
my unique players scored 177 today... AP's scored 360
bummer!

at some stage I'll post remaining players, but I confess to being confused over finals day.
I have developed a sneaky feeling that only 3 teams progress with the Vipers perhaps going straight to the final

Stars -v- Storm in the semi for the honour of playing the Vipers in the final

finals day = Mathews and Kapp -v- Priest + 176
realistically I need the Stars to knock out the Storm (with a failure for Priest) so that I go into the final with 4 players to AP's 2

and, of course, whenever someone starts to calculate how the results have to go, it generally means they're screwed
which is a pity because going into the final round I was really fancying my chances
my bowlers were awful today.... just plain awful

A Surrey Stars semi-final win means I have no unique players going into the final with Footman's 2 (Matthews and Kapp), which will make my 176pt lead rather vulnerable.
A Storm v Vipers final becomes a showdown between Rachel Priest and Hayley Matthews to determine the KSL 2017 FL Winner.

so naturally the Stars are making a right pigs ear of the semi final. Doubtless Rachel Priest will knock the runs off by herself

oooh
Kapp turns the game on it's head by opening up with a double wicket maiden
perhaps it isn't all over
