10 teams in

more than enough for me to pick up my usual Sheffield Shield wooden spoon and Arthur to pick up the mars bar.

I'm already wondering which 3 of my 11 players will actually play this year

no antipodean entrants, sadly, which seems a shame.

Any chance you could fill in the gaps, Prof?

Just noticed you have Tremain down as T instead of V.

I led all the way one season, only to lose on the last match. This year I don't have Hartley and Hopes to rely on.

The losing of Hopes is like practice for when Stevens finally retires

me too. When I heard that he was to be rested in favour of Aussie test players, I did consider swapping him for Trent Copeland, before remembering the Bresnan/Mullaney effect and keeping him in. Only time will tell whether I did the right thing or not

I think that Tas need to drop Bird and bring Milenko back into the side

and Holland was something like the second or third best bowler in the league last year, so Victoria need to stop being so blooming stupid.

My problem in the SS has always been an inability to pick players who will actually play
