10 matches plus the k/o's. Plenty of time, but the Prof is a wily old customer, so you'll have to be on the top of your game, GJ

OK, here comes a rant, having been to see the Stars a couple of times this season. Sweeping changes need to be made before next season. The following need a tap on the shoulder;

Ben Dunk - has been the biggest flop of the entire competition this season.
John Hastings - I love the Duke, I do, but he is finished as a cricketer.
KP & Luke Wright - both have totally bombed this season. Relace with a batsman and a quick.
Adam Zampa - another who has misfired, and still gets a call-up at the business end of the tournament.
Ben Hilfenhaus - hasn't featured in any games. Pension him off to free up salary cap space.

To replace Dunk, open the batting with Rob Quiney, who did really well last season.
Get Worrell and Boland healthy, although Boland was poor early in the tourney and in fact, may need a tap on the shoulder himself.
Need to get Faulkner back in form.
For imports, can we get Malinga back, and maybe bring in ABDV? Pretty please with a cherry on top?
Stop Maxwell playing his stupid fancy shots, because he keeps getting out on them.
Give Handscomb the armband, since he's not getting back in the Oz team anytime soon.
Poach someone from the Perth Scorchers... anybody. Ashton Agar will do. He is Victorian after all!
If we poach someone from Tassie/Hurricanes, which we seem to like doing, Darcy Short will do.
Find some young gun batsman from VCA ranks and give him a run. We've done this with bowlers, but no batsmen.
Can we have Cameron White back? Why was he allowed to leave in the first place?

And for heaven's sake, move the ODI's so that they don't clash with the Big Bash, which could/should be a much better comp than it currently is. Every year the ODI's either make teams worse, and/or make weaker teams appear stronger. CA really need to sort this out.

The Melbourne Stars have been poor this year, and will not only finish outside the top four for the first time in their history, but will finish dead last. A season to forget, with the players looking disinterested, frankly. King Eddie needs to sort it out or he too, needs a tap o the shoulder.

the women Stars aren't much better

Stands - you, me and Yuppie may all go for the Mighty Blues, but when it comes to the BBL, my preferences vary to yours.

Unlike in the AFL, there is only one team that I actively want to lose. The Stars.
