Fawad, Maxwell, Twatto and Abbott are all done, and there a few players, still active, who are snapping at their heels, so they might disappear off the board yet

Donkey players (and picks)

0 Agar W
0 Pattinson
0 Behrendorff
55 Boland
165 Beer
184 Henriques
208 Finch
240 Shadab
250 Dunk (caught a few of us out.... big daft bozo)

Anyone picking Shadab was a blunder as it was clear he would only play 5 matches and possibly finals in case his team made it.

Henriques is always risky due to injuries.

Ben Dunk was not expected to score 200 only after playing so many games.

GJ opens a gap

will it be enough?

It might be. The Profs 2 extra Scorchio's haven't been prolific up to now

Both have Head and Bravo, so they won't feature

Carey (805) and Christian (470) plus 239 points plays Rashid Khan (802), Ingram (402), Tasho (480) and Klinger (259)

Plus my Christian Hurricane (for the one game)

Yes, Dan Christian may well be my saviour here.

Scored a quickfire 30-40 and has 3 wickets so far - in the Hurricanes absolute romp to the final.

You will be pleased to know, DF, that the Tash has just faced his first ever ball in BB cricket.

hurricanes going through has to help you massively, I would have thought. I confess to getting a surprise when I saw the result. Gave them a right good thumping

Oh blimey... just seen how well Christian has done. Game Set and Match, presumably. If I was to listen closely enough, I'd probably be able to hear the Prof gnashing his teeth

I see that Wade got MOM, which says a lot about the batsmancentric attitudes of the people who decide these things. If he'd been in the FL his MOM performance would have netted him 109 points, whereas Christian's lesser performance was worth 217.

Mike is slipping ever southwards. Not enough time to finish bottom this time, though

In the defence of whoever chose the motm, the commentators were discussing this as the game drew to a close, and they agreed that Wade's innings was pivotal and set the scene for the whole match. Which it did do.

It's not all about statistics and fantasy league points you know, Footman.

I would have given it to Christian myself...
