The Prof has done well to get this gig up and running at such short notice. (Adi usually favours the 'just in time' approach to team selection and it is an approach that has served him well for several years). I presume we are sticking with two players

not happy with my 2nd choice but will have to stick with it, very happy with my first one.
looking at all stats in T20, first class and List A.
most runs or wicket takers are from the english domestic season or Indian domestic season since those two play the most number of games.
took a gamble with Finch hopefully it pays off.
my tactic was to pick players that play all 3 formats of the game in domestic cricket + franchise cricket and also with finch play international cricket.

Archer should be a great pick, likely to play loads of t20 frachise games + games for sussex.
