Six Nations Predictions League 2018

Rules

Predict an outcome and points difference for all 15 games played over the 5 match weekends.

Scoring System

4 points for predicting the correct outcome.

Bonus points for predicting the correct outcome within certain ranges of the actual result:
Converted try (7 pts) = 1st bonus point
Drop goal (3 pts) = 2nd bonus point
Exact result = 3 additional bonus points

Consolation point for predicting an incorrect outcome within certain range of the actual result:
Converted try (7 pts) = 1 consolation point

Example

Wales v England

Player A predicts Wales by 10
Player B predicts Wales by 8
Player C predicts Wales by 4
Player D predicts Wales by 2
Player E predicts Draw by 0
Player F predicts England by 1
Player G predicts England by 6

Actual result: Wales 18 England 16

Player A scores 4 (correct outcome, no bonuses)
Player B scores 5 (correct outcome and within 7 of the actual result)
Player C scores 6 (correct outcome and within 3 of the actual result)
Player D scores 9 (correct outcome and exact result)
Player E scores 1 (consolation point)
Player F scores 1 (consolation point)
Player G scores 0

Ireland v Italy Aviva Stadium, Dublin Kick off: 2:15pm
England v Wales Twickenham Stadium, London Kick off: 4:45pm

Scotland v France BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh Kick off: 3:00pm

Friday 23rd February 2018
France v Italy Orange Vélodrome, Marseille Kick off: 8:00pm
Saturday 24th February 2018
Ireland v Wales Aviva Stadium, Dublin Kick off: 2:15pm
Scotland v England BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh Kick off: 4:45pm

Saturday 10th March 2018
Ireland v Scotland Aviva Stadium, Dublin Kick off: 2:15pm
France v England Stade de France, Paris Kick off: 4:45pm
Sunday 11th March 2018
Wales v Italy Principality Stadium, Cardiff Kick off: 3:00pm

Saturday 17th March 2018
Italy v Scotland Stadio Olimpico, Rome Kick off: 12:30pm
England v Ireland Twickenham Stadium, London Kick off: 2:45pm
Wales v France Principality Stadium, Cardiff Kick off: 5:00pm


You do not need to do them all at the same time, just as long a your match prediction is made before kick-off.

I will post each of the match weekends fixtures after the previous one has finished.

sorry.. haven't explained myself very well. 4 pts for correct outcome and 3 pts for exact score = 7

Exact winning margin points are added to the already accumulated range bonus:-

4 points for predicting the correct outcome.
