Fantasy Cricket League 2018 Table

I have finally inputted all of the cricket FLs that finished in January, with the results below:

Overall sores are calculated as such:
1st = 10 points
2nd = 7
3rd = 5
4th = 4
5th = 3
6th = 2
7th = 1

To accommodate for posters that don't take part in the majority of competitions, the percentage league allows these players to not be isolated at the bottom of the table.

I will try to get this updated with February's details, before the second weekend in March!

nice one, Ian.

I confess to not understanding the % bit, though.

Just a shame that this thread didn't exist in the years when I used to do fairly well in FL's. Been a long time since that happened. I'll have to pull my socks up

First place takes 100%, last place takes x% - with x being 100 divided by number of participants. Everyone else is ranked by position accordingly.
A bit like 'average position finish, from competitions entered' - a crude ranking system maybe, but I couldn't think of a better one!

For example: GJ has finished 3rd of 21 and 2nd of 14 from the 2 FLs in which he has taken part. He takes 93/100 and 90/100, thus averaging 91.5% - rounded up to 92%

ah, ok.... so it's kind of like a ranking system based on average performance

what we really need is some sort of seeding system, wherein Red has to start every comp on some arbitrary -pts figure to give everyone else a chance. Either that or confiscate the batteries on his time machine.

my 41% is another reason why I need to pull my socks up

Interesting idea Ian, thanks for collating all the data.

Although, personally, I see no particular need for the % table...

Good work Ian.

A bit surprising Red isn't on top.

Red's a long way ahead there, and then GG a long way ahead of third. They must be the CMS candidates to go on into the world message board FL world cup.
