for those trying women's cricket for the first time, please note that the scoring is slightly different to reflect the difference in strike rates and economy rates compared to the men.

Be interesting to see what innings the women are producing. I have a hunch t20 scores will be in parity with the male counterparts (the early days when 140 is a par total and 160 is a winning total)

at the start of the WBBL earlier this year, the scores started off really high, but then fell markedly after the first couple of rounds. There was a reason for this, which eludes me for the moment, but it had something to do with where the matches were being played or the weather or something, so it may be that the pitches being prepared will determine this..... as it does for the men, of course
I confess to not being sure where the matches will be played
