Second big event where you need something additional to a 'normal' TV sports subscription to watch. We have Amazon prime, but it's more complicated than pressing a remote control button to watch it on the telly!

all sport is heading that way, Ian. I'm glad I gave subscription TV up 4 or 5 years ago. Means i don't get sucked in to spending more and more and more.

It will eventually kill all sport except football

It certainly looks that way DFM :thumb

The thing that really bugs me is that SKY/Virgin etc. insist you have some kind of an overall package (ie: lots of crap that is watched once in a blue moon!) before you are allowed to add any sports channel.

Shame that one of the companies hasn't tried an 'all sport bar football' at a reasonable cost, to see if it would appeal...

Brendy ahead - in points and players :clap

Looks like a past champion (del Potro), either of the darker horses (Anderson/Isner) or a complete outsider (Basilashvili) will have to go deep into the second week for anyone else to take the title...

Hasn't it killed football too? There isn't much on FYA these days.

The worst from my perspective in Oz is that football is locked down to a specific mobile provider (Optus). So if you want premier league, or non-Australia internationals, you have to change your phone contract. No thank you.

So brendy is guaranteed at least a share of the title - andy can match his score if del Potro beats Nishikori in the final. However, if either Nadal or Djokovic reach the final, andy will take the wooden spoon from mike!

Thanks everyone for playing :salute
