Who Am I?

Postby The Professor » Tue Aug 28, 2018 4:54 pm

Pretty standard game ...might have been a thread for this previously; if so I apologise.

I will give clues one at a time until it has been guessed.

Then someone else can have a go or I will plough on.

First clue is:

I am middle order batsman and a right-arm fast medium.

I once famously lost my temper mid match - although it has never been made clear whether it was at a rival or at the umpires.

So played in the thirties and a batsman who bowled. Only one I can think of is Wally Hammond.

Correct.

Want to take next one or shall I continue?

In a flash of inspiration we can League-afy this.

So I will engineer it that all clues are more easily got as we go on so that the maximum number of clues before it becomes obvious is 5.

Anyone who gets it on the first clue will get 5 points, on the second clue they will get 4 points etc. etc.

So DD leads thus far with 3 points for guessing Hammond after three clues.
