I scored India's first ever Test century, in Mumbai against England in 1933. It was India's first home Test.

The only way I'm getting that is by googling the answer, which I won't do

It was my only Test hundred.

I was in the India side for our first Test win, against England in Chennai 19 years later in 1952. Later the same year I was skipper for our second win, against Pakistan n Delhi. I retired at the end of that series. I took 45 wickets at 32.9, and averaged 24.4 with the bat.

Mankad was an all-rounder, but I thought he retired as top indianwixket taker, surely he took more than that.

Otherwise that's me out

Presume an India fan would get that in one.

Went on to manage India and then became an administrator.

Replaced Learie Constantine in the Lancs League.
