2. When Viv Richards famously turned out for a season at Rishton in the Lancs leagues, it would be me who bowled his first ball in club cricket; a delivery that trapped him absolutely plumb in front. The umpire, not wanting to send home the 1000s of people who had turned up to watch without at least a bit of magic, refused to give it out and Viv would go on to score 87..... in a game my side lost by 86 runs. Viv would later admit he cant believe the umpire gave it not out.

It was eddo the chicken farmer.....

He was 35 when he knocked England over in 97..... and was known as a part time player, farming being his day job. Consequently he lost a lot of pace by the time Zimbabwe got test status, in his prime as a younger guy he was supposed to have been one of the quickest bowlers ever to have played

I don't know if his records still stand, they did up to a few years ago, but he's the oldest person to have taken a one day hattrick, with the additional record of dismissing 3 bats with the highest average (it used to be by some distance too)

The second clue will make the answer very obvious, as I am pretty sure without trying to revert to stereotype that Chandigarh is in Sikh Punjab, which means the surname will more than likely be Singh..... just a case of guessing which.

Harbi?

Ok, then maybe my thinking is completely wrong. Apart from Bedi, who I am sure is from Amritsar, I couldnt name any sikhs that have captained India past harbi.

Kohli and Sehwag are Delhi boys, Gavaskar , Ravi and Tendulkar are from Mumbai, Sourav was the Prince of Calcutta, Dravid was from Indore, Azza was from Hyderabad.....

Think the only other Indian Captains I could name after that are Dev, Contractor, Venkat and the Tiger....

Ill go for the latter, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.....
