it's a quick tournament, this one.... all over in a heartbeat, which I guess explains why there are only 14 man squads

i also assume that these players will all be available for the entire 4 week tournament and there will be no Aussie or Aussie A interference in availability

No Cricket Australia XI either... just a straight 6 way shoot out

Good luck.... we will all probably need it

in theory, everyone should be available, otherwise they wouldn't be in such a small sized squad. Australia have named their squads for forthcoming series and they don't appear to be in these squads.... Hence the inclusion of Maxwell (Langer apparently misquoted century stats for the players he'd selected whilst defending the omission of the big Ponce from the international squads), so hopefully these squads reflect full availability and can be trusted..... famous last words

If things do work out as I hope, then this sort of thing is great news for the fantasy leaguer, saving untold time checking where and when the international and second stringers are playing and trying to second guess whether they'll be available or not

I'm hoping that only player injury will lead to last minute call ups from these squads

As far as injuries are concerned.... I've gone for NCN (gawd help me).... I'm nervous already

and I've omitted the big ponce/no show/chancer from my team, so he will (naturally) score a 1000 points for Red and whoever else has the wit to pick him. If I was to pick him, though, he'd be an unmitigated flop, so he will probably end up owing me a year's supply of funsize confectionery for single handedly getting him back into the Aussie set up after the JLT has finished

you're welcome Mr Maxwell

please don't do that to me. after selecting Afridi, for the CPL, who then promptly pulled out on the morning of the first game (bast@rd!), I'm a bit wary of these things

surely in a 14 man squad, if NCN was injured, it would be a bit like Durham including injured players in a 13 man squad for a trip to Northants

Maybe it's just that he's always injured.
