I'd assumed that it would be my team's total runs scored times total wickets taken, but what if the scores are accumulated on a match by match basis? In that case my 68 runs and 54 runs would have scored me no points had de Kock not taken that one catch

That is how it is going to work DFM: accumulative tournament runs multiplied by accumulative tournament wickets

I was just quite pleased with my total from the first match

I thought it was going to be dismissals x runs for individual players in each game so I looked for all rounders and keepers. Not sure if that is an excuse or not.

If the scoring had been done that way AC, then there would be cases of ducks cancelling out five-fors and/or centuries left unsupported in the field.

For example: Rohit Sharma's ODI record score of 264 would have worth precisely zero in this game, as he took neither a wicket nor catch in the match.
