the eagle eyed among you will have noticed that 'out for the season' Lewis Gregory made an appearance on Friday night, which might help those who selected him for the div 1 CC

Dame D'Arcy Bussell miles ahead of everyone else..... pity he was in an England style team.... ie a team with some good bowlers but only 2 batsmen in the side

I'll catch all this up after the QF's
For all you stats fans...... Bopara's last 3 matches have garnered scores of 155, 167 and 149. That's the sort of form that drags a team to finals day

not many players make it to finals day, and several of the ones whose teams did, have gone off somewhere else or are out injured, so the final board is unlikely to change much.
brendy's only hope is for Essex to suddenly recall long time absentee Varun Chopra and for Hales to have an absolutely stellar finals day, while Brown and Christian have a terrible time, but having signed for the Barbados Tridents it is unclear to me if Hales will even be at finals day.... He must return, surely? it's his real club...... I can't imagine they would let him go off somewhere else at such a crucial time.
