I'll keep my pieces of paper for a couple of days in case anyone thinks I've gone wrong. After that, look in book.

Mike had five Aussies. I don't think the DM will like that.

Well played alfie, thanks for running AC, and :facepalm for my team.

Last minute inclusion of Boland was a total blunder...

Phew ! That was close ... well done Red and Junior with that storming run home ! I trust there haven't been any miscalculations so I can celebrate now ; but that's what I call a good race.

Many thanks for running this Arthur. Always fun. :thumb

Usually some posters' teams are wrecked by injuries half way through the series. I was thinking of introducing an injury or tactics swap half way through the series next time. The drawback is it means members will lose out if they don't re-engage with the thread way part during the series.

A concussion sub , perhaps :)

Might be simpler just to have more than two reserves ? The other way would be to allow posters to nominate squads per match ; but that would radically change the nature of the competition. I for one am happy with the way these are working : sometimes you get lucky , sometimes not : no real reason to change.

What do others think ?

I'm happy enough with the way it's done now.... other than the fact that I don't win enough of them for my liking
