Soon to return, completely unfazed by the arrival of major league cricket across the pond and ready to show the IPL what proper T20 cricket is all about.
No more 4 hour matches once this series starts, no more strategic ad breaks, no more substitutions, no more players standing around aimlessly until every possible revenue raising opportunity has been eked out..... at least not until August at any rate when those lovely Indian franchises begin to insist upon it. Be careful what you wish for.... sometimes the devil has been known to make stuff up when hiding in the detail


Rules

pick 11 players, any players, no restrictions at all


Scoring

Batting
1pt for every run scored
Players scoring at least 25 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for every 25 runs scored
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 10pt bonus for a s/r 125-174
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 20pt bonus for a s/r 175-224
Players scoring at least 15 runs will receive a 30pt bonus for a s/r 225+

Bowling
25 pts per wicket plus
5 points bonus for maiden over
10 pt bonus for a 2fer
20 pt bonus for a 4fer
Bowler with an economy rate of <=4.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 50 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=5.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 40 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=6.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 30 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=7.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 20 point bonus
Bowler with an economy rate of <=8.0 (min 2 overs) will receive a 10 point bonus

Fielding
10 points for each catch taken and stumping.
20 points for sole run out (10 each if shared)
10 pt bonus for being involved in 3 catches / run-outs / stumpings
