Sky Sports will be keen to televise all four T20 Quarter-Finals. Even playing on a Monday night at Headingley is a non-starter as it clashes with the Edgbaston Day/Night test.

Apparently Sky Sports can't get their trucks outside North Marine Road (zero on-site parking facilities) and there is no space for cameras or commenator booth.

This might be a radical solution, but one idea is to play any home Twenty20 quarter-final on Sunday 20th August as early as 11am (that's if Sky are not televising any T20 on 17th/18th August during the Day/Night test), or if Yorkshire end up at home to Hampshire then play on Wednesday 30th August.

FTECB

It isn't that they are that hopeless, that they didn't have an alternative plan, or just took a punt on Yorks not securing a home QF, because they aren't that hopeless.......it's because they couldn't give a flying *modded* one way or the other

I'll bet this situation would not have arisen if this had been their city based nonsense.

Should have gone to TB today but missed that Yorks were playing. Big total too.

Did contemplate in going to Trent Bridge but got put off by the weather forecast, 180 round miles is a long way to drive for a draw.

Looking like a defeat right now. Halestorm.

Rashid going for fewer than the others, but not getting the wickets to turn the game and going for enough anyway.

Willey gets Hales. Might be too late, but it's an opening. 100 off 45.

If a team was capable of chasing 224 in 20 overs it would be Notts

Time for Yorkshire to grow a pair and demand for a Home Quarter Final to be played at Headingley or Scarborough (even Bradford Park Avenue, Elland Road), not in someone elses backyard.

Another fast fifty for Hales. Must be top scorer this year.
