"So far" being key there. Just the 32 conceded off his 3rd, and Kent's last.

I can't work out why he bowled when Darren Stevens still had 2 left.

TBF to Benji he has a T20 strike rate of 14.7, an impressive stat in itself. Reduce the economy rate to below 8 and he'd replace Jade Dernbach in the England T20 squad.

"They took all our players away, banned our captain and we still came away with a ten-wicket victory" Jason Gillespie

Marcus Trescothick - who was dropped from Somerset's t20 side last week amid suggestions he would no longer play in the format -has been recalled for tonight's game at The Oval and is also keeping wicket.

Is he really their second choice after Kieswetter? I know Buttler has moved on but I'm sure they had a decent 3rd choice at the time.

Alex Barrow is Kieswetter's deputy but hasn't played in t20. If this game is a must win for Somerset they probably decided to go with experience.

Haven't been paying close attention to this group-is this a crucial game for Somerset? I assume it must be otherwise why play Tresco?

Surrey have a pile of spin options and Somerset virtually none from what I can see.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Big game for Surrey. Massive game for Somerset.

Four teams fighting for three places (alongside Essex). These two are the bottom of the four, but have the game (or, games, in Surrey's case) in hand.

If Somerset were to win, they'd go from 5th to 3rd, and they'd be just two points between 2nd and 5th.

Surrey fielding SEVEN players born outside of the country in this afternoons T20 against Gloucestershire, makes a mockery of the domestic system.
