don't know if he had just had a bad night's sleep or something but when he was in the studio after this morning's BBL game he just looked so drawn and as if he had aged 5 years over the winter

1. Bresnan was saved the ignomy of having the worst bowling figures ever in the BBL by Captain Paine, who chose the spinner Malik for the last over over Timmy.

2. Brisbane were gifted a dream start with the bizzarre dismissal of Dunk.

Not a Test great I guess. But amazing he bowled so fast for so long.

And he or Lance Cairns hit the longest sixes I've seen. Though Lance hit his with a plank of wood.

A legend of 05 of course. Never gave up in those games, even if wayward at times. Memorably in England's second innings in Birmingham and Nottingham. And rather stirringly with the bat in Manchester and Birmingham. Best of luck to him.
