Posted: Fri Feb 07, 2014 4:10 pmThe Perth Scorchers made it third time lucky tonight. The Hurricanes of course, did the Scorchers a big favour by rolling the Stars the other night. Although that said, the Scorchers did the Heat a huge favour by rolling the Stars last year. So he BBL is now 3 years old. The first three winners have been; the Sydney Sixers (from 3rd), the Brisbane Heat (from 4th), and the Perth Scorchers (from 3rd). It doesn't seem to pay to finish in the top 2, it seems. Perth become the first team to win it at home. The Melbourne Stars seem to be the South Africa of the competition, not being able to get past the semi-final stage.

hmm so much for an injury, which ended his test tour..
