There's a requalification period. And people say Warks said he had to stop playing for Ireland for some reason.

The only reason he quit Ireland was so he could play Tests i think but it looks like he won't add to his lone cap now.

Ireland fast-tracked Joyce back and if Rankin wants to quit England then Ireland will try to fast-track him too.

Would be the greatest finish to Finals Day for a long time. Maybe even ever.

Even in 2012, it didn't actually go down to the last ball.

Anderson cost Lancs the trophy. Stick to the players that got you there.

Lancs would also have won if the umpires gave Birmingham a 6 run penalty. Don't know why it wasn't awarded as they clearly went over the time limit.

Exceptional final over from Woakes, why can't he bowl like that for England!

Cracking couple of games tonight, well played Bears.

As an aside, we should have won, Birmingham over the time limit, Lancashire win by 1 wicket.

Would rather lose to play on the field though.

Was it down to 0 before the start of the last over then?

9.32 on the scoreboard was the cut off. I made it 9.33 when the 19th over finished.

Isn't it down to the umpires discretion ??, batsman chatting, asking for gloves etc. all add up.

Ironically, Horton's furious reaction & the time it took for him to leave the crease might have cost Lancs-umpires may have taken it into consideration.
Think Warwickshire were fortunate though not to get penalised but they were deserved winners on the day.

That was bloody disgraceful by Horton.

I think the Umps got it right to not add a penalty.
