maybe T20 could be played as a diamond, like baseball, then every footy ground in the country could host it

the ramp shot would have to go, of course, along with the reverse sweep, the spoon and the egg timer (somebody will invent the egg timer later), unless they put giant hoops in the stands behind the corner and award the batsmen runs for flicking/edging/spooning/ramping/tickling/reversing through the hoops (delete as appropriate)

making them play in funny costumes with giant polystyrene heads would give things a nice 'Jeux Sans Frontiere but without the paedo' feel about it, without at any stage trivialising or diminishing either the game of cricket, or the skill sets involved

lets be honest.... the only ideas that would be completely unacceptable to the ECB, the MCC or the ICC would be ones that don't make enough money

or upset the BCCI because they didn't think of it first
