Simmons responds with consecutive sixes... Still don't rate him.

Did Renegades have no money to spend on bowlers? Rimmington, Tremain, Walker, Doherty and Bravo isn't exactly a great attack. Compare that to the Scorchers who have at least 8 bowlers who are of international standard.

Guy Walker making his professional debut today. 3 overs 0/47. Probably going to be a long time before we ever see him again at this level.

Lynn and Cutting take Heat up to 180. Should win here from here even though Renegades do have Gayle and Finch.

Heat's use of Badree has cost them this game.

Took him off when pressure was building and then he returned too late.

Badree showed why he's the number one ranked T20 bowler in the world. 0/20 in 4 overs, no boundaries conceded, in a chase of 180+.

Match winning knock from Bravo, senior. Remarkable how prominent Caribbean players are in T20.

Renegades win.

Both teams won't win anything this season with such useless bowling attacks.

You can do ok with crafty, rather than glamour bowlers. You seem to get that in T20. Might be different on faster tracks.

You don't need to have big name bowlers. Scorchers do well with players like Tye, Paris, Behrendorff.

Renegades look really short on bowlers though with Pattinson and Siddle away. Heat just have an attack full of run conceding bowlers, apart from Badree.

I thought the Renegades did very well to win that. They do need Siddle and Pattinson though. Throw them in the mix and the Renegades will be tough to beat.

Usman Khawaja is on a mission in tonight's game. The crowd is down, on account of the weather. This should be a good game. Hastings just picked up Kallis.
