What are you doing Lancs. You've been given five balls to hit just one boundary. Three balls left.

Far closer than it should have been. Far too close given that both Prince and Buttler were set with less than 20 needed. Still, two wins away from a season that is looking to be a very good start to Giles' tenure.

Buttler started to look back to his best at the end. Hope he can take that into the last test.

Nope, fewer wickets has always existed in this competition. It's how we won the 2010 final.

Super Overs only come into play in English domestic t20 cricket when D/L has resulted in the innings being of different lengths. You can't really compare, say, wickets lost over 20 overs to wickets lost over 8 overs. Both SFs in 2011, which both went to Super Overs, were both rain reduced ties.

would expect the warks game to be the first semi as they will want to get the home fans in early and hopefully stay all day to maximise revenue at the ground

Indeed. SF line-up is identical to last year, except for Northants being Birmingham's opponents instead of Surrey. And Brum were the first SF last year, with us-Lancs then the second SF.

I'd expect it to be the same.
